Book One of Three-Abba Father
Before you can know the Son or walk in the Spirit, you have to know the Father.
Most of us have kept God the Father at arm's length; a distant authority behind the more approachable Persons of the Trinity, a name we use to close a prayer more than a Person we actually address. Abba, Father will not let Him stay there.
This is theology that refuses to stay in your head. Across ten chapters, you'll discover:
Who God actually is — His self-existence, His unchanging character, and what it means that the Father who needs nothing chose to love you anyway
The names He wears — El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, and the astonishing intimacy of "Abba"
The scope of His power — from creation out of nothing to the cross itself
The nearness of His presence — wherever you are right now
What it means to be adopted — not a servant earning favor, but a child already secure
How to draw progressively nearer to Him — from the outer court to the Holy of Holies
The danger of a hardened heart — and the Father who runs to meet you anyway
Whether you've spent years in the faith or are just beginning to ask who God really is, Abba, Father offers a rich, reverent, and deeply personal introduction to the God who invites you to call Him Dad.
Book One of a three-part series on the Godhead, followed by The Name Above Every Name and Under the Influence.
